Where can I view the foldaway?
Option 1:
Visit us at our business premises located at 11a Mocke Road, Diep River, Cape Town. We operate during regular business hours, from 8 AM to 5 PM on weekdays. If you need to visit after hours or on weekends, just give us a call, and we’ll make the necessary arrangements.
Option 2:
We can come to your location within the more popular areas of the Cape Peninsula, including the Southern and Northern suburbs, the West Coast as far as Melkbos, the Atlantic Seaboard, and the False Bay region. In most cases, we’ll have a sufficient stock of washlines with us, allowing us to complete your purchase on the spot. While there is no obligation, we prefer to avoid making a second trip if you decide to buy. We also offer an optional installation service (details below).
Option 3:
For out-of-town customers in locations such as Hermanus, Mossel Bay, Plettenberg Bay, Knysna, Wellington, Paarl, Stellenbosch, Johannesburg, Durban, and other areas: Give us a call, and we’ll connect you with one of our many existing customers in these regions for assistance.

Get a good sense of our products by checking out the pictures in the “Sizes & Prices” section. We also have a permanent display at the Building Centre in Northgate, opposite Builders Warehouse, as well as a stand at the Homemakers Expo, held annually at the Cape Town International Convention Centre in late August.

Can you come and give me a quote?
Yes, we can do that if you're based in Cape Town, but we believe it's not necessary. You can easily determine the price by checking the price for each specific size on our website. This approach saves time and ensures that your washing lines are delivered and, if needed, installed on our first visit. You are under no obligation to make a purchase if you're not completely satisfied with our washing lines.
Do your prices include VAT?

How much weight can the foldaway washline carry?
All the various sizes are guaranteed to be sufficiently strong to hold as much washing as can be hung by the amount of line provided. This may include items such as blankets, large towels and duvet covers.
What colour does the foldaway come in?
Our standard colour is White (ANP 1052 Gloss), We do provide two other colours as an optional extra, Dark Brown and Charcoal. There is an additional charge for either of these two colours.
Does the foldaway come with a guarantee?
Yes, we provide a 5 year warrantee on the washline frame . We would also be sympathetic to any reasonable claim made after this period. The Foldaway Washline is a quality product, which is made out of superior materials and should give you many years of good service if it is looked after.
Please note that this does not include the actual line used to string the washlines. Unfortunately all of the makes of lines that we have found to be suitable for the stringing of our washlines are not UV protected. It is for this reason that we have provided a thumbnut clasp for the easy replacement of the physical line itself which will eventually need to be changed.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we do not ship beyond the borders of South Africa. However, should you wish to place an order from outside of South Africa and arrange for your own collection and shipping, this can be arranged.
Can the foldaway be mounted on Vibracrete walls?
Foldaway has a back bar (for additional strength) and so ideally you need a flat wall for mounting. This can however be overcome on vibracrete walls which are not flat due to the upright supporting columns by using aluminium spacer blocks. The aluminium spacer blocks are attached to the vibracrete panels, but it does mean that you will need to drill through the panels. In the case where the vibracrete wall is shared with a neighbor you probably should get his permission as it may look a bit untidy on his side. Ideally your washing line should be mounted at a height of about 1, 85 meters.
